On the Tracks Travel Tracker (“the App”) is operated by Onthetracksof007.com (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use the App.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.


2a. Information We Collect


When you use the App, we may collect the following categories of data:

  • Account Information: email address, username, and authentication details provided when you sign up or log in.
  • App Usage Data: locations you mark as visited, stats generated in the App, and preferences (e.g., overlay settings).
  • Subscription & Payment Data: subscription status and purchase tokens provided through Google and Apple store Billing. We do not process or store your credit card information — this is handled securely by the stores.
  • Device Data: basic information such as device type, operating system, and crash logs (for debugging and performance monitoring).


2b. Optional features


We use device push tokens to optionally deliver membership updates and travel/event notices. Tokens are stored in our database and may be processed by Expo and Firebase Cloud Messaging solely to deliver notifications. You can disable notifications in the app or device settings at any time. On opt-out or account deletion, tokens are disabled or removed.



3. How We Use Your Information


We use the information collected to:

  • Provide and personalize the App’s features (map, camera overlays, visited POIs, stats, optional notifications).
  • Manage subscriptions and confirm purchase validity.
  • Securely store your progress and sync data with our backend.
  • Improve the App’s performance and fix bugs.
  • Communicate with you regarding support requests or important updates.


4. Data Storage & Security


  • Supabase is our backend service provider. All data is transmitted via HTTPS and stored securely in cloud databases managed by Supabase.
  • Row Level Security (RLS) is enforced so your account data is isolated from other users.
  • Local device storage (AsyncStorage) may cache session tokens or visited data for offline use.
  • We apply commercially reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.


5. Sharing of Information


We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share data with:

  • Google Play & Apple App Store Connect (to process subscriptions and in-app purchases).
  • Supabase (to provide authentication and data storage).
  • Service providers we may use for analytics, error reporting, or hosting.


6. Data Retention


We retain your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.
If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law.


7. User Rights


Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you may have the right to:

  • Access and request a copy of your personal data.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and related data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

8. Children’s Privacy


The App is not directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If we learn that we have collected data from a child without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

Changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
